SilverCreek RCM has grown, expanded our services and enhanced our technology, but our mission has remained the same. In 2018 we joined forces with Physicians Business Network (PBN) to build upon their foundation and continue to move toward operational efficiency and increased focus on technology. Rebecca Light

Rebecca Light, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

Rebecca Light, founder of SilverCreek Medical Reimbursement Solutions, LLC, is a Pittsburg, Kansas native and an MBA graduate of Pittsburg State University. She has a healthcare career spanning 20 years, with previous employers including Via Christi Pittsburg (Mt. Carmel Hospital). She filled the roles of Financial Services Supervisor, Compliance Officer and Revenue Cycle Director. During her tenure at Via Christi, she was nominated, based on her exceptional financial record, to serve on the Revenue Cycle Advisory Committee to all Catholic hospitals as a Revenue Cycle Expert. Rebecca has served as past president Joplin Chapter MGMA, member of Healthcare Billing and Management Association, Medical Group Management Association, Pittsburg Sunrise Rotary and participated on various community service committees and projects. Healthcare Compliance and Healthcare Billing and Management Association periodicals have published articles by Rebecca.

The opportunities and multitude of responsibilities throughout her career prepared Rebecca with the expertise to launch SilverCreek RCM, a successful and highly reputable organization sought by medical associations, consulting experts, payors and technology companies.

Jonas Heinrich

Chief Business Officer

Jonas Heinrich joined the SilverCreek RCM family of companies in March of 2018 and he helps oversee the direction of all Overland Park operations. Prior to joining SilverCreek RCM, Jonas worked at Zotec Partners, LLC from 2014 to 2018 where he served as a Client Services Manager for large physician practices in the Midwest. Previous to Zotec Partners, Jonas was the Chief Administrative Officer at Physicians Business Network. Jonas has been in revenue cycle management for over 15 years and he holds both a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas State University and an MBA from Rockhurst University.

Vice President of Human Resources

Doug VanBecelaere manages the day-to-day functions of SilverCreek RCM, focusing on quality assurance, marketing, policy and procedures implementation, budgeting and regulatory compliance. His oversight and operation guidance promote growth and SilverCreek’s commitment to quality and excellence. Recently, Doug has been diligently researching and adding technologies to improve and expedite SilverCreek’s client patient payment portal system. He also provides support, as needed, to the supervisor in operational functions such as systems, policy research and problem resolution. His efforts to identify potential clients and maintain healthy business relationships with consultants and vendors are integral to SilverCreek’s success.

Spanning a management career of over 17 years, Doug’s experience is enhanced by his bachelor’s degree in business management. He is the past workforce manager for CIGNA Healthcare, where he was instrumental in the development of workforce strategies that resulted in company-wide productivity and accuracy increases. Doug’s long career in management and operational oversight ensure that SilverCreek RCM is on the right path to deliver client satisfaction.

Melissa Peterson

Chief Operations Officer

Melissa Peterson has been with SilverCreek since 2010, and has worked in the healthcare industry since 2005. As supervisor, she oversees staff members on a daily basis, ensuring that quality customer service is the ultimate goal. She has worked with other personnel to revise the SilverCreek training process and continually adds to the staff member continuing education program. Her efforts with her staff members have resulted in effective standardizing of many of the current policies and procedures.

She has held the roles of nearly every position in the billing field: entry level biller, team leader and supervisor. Prior to her employment in medical billing, she was a healthcare provider clinic manager. Melissa has successfully billed out of multiple Practice Management systems including Advanced MD, Micro MD, Meditech/LSS, e-MDs, PDS Cortex and Aprima; she has also utilized Trizetto and Practice Insight for clearinghouses. Her knowledge of the front end piece of the medical clinic, as well as her vast experience in the back end/billing side, make her an extremely valuable member of the team.
